What you’ll be doing.
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for planning and directing a portfolio of projects that support the annual strategic plan for GMMI. This role requires analysis of complex business problems to be solved through automated systems and process improvement. The position is assigned to new business process and business process improvement projects that align with business/functional goals and strategies.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with internal clients, vendors and stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members, internal clients, vendors, and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools, Track project milestones and deliverables.
- Determine the frequency and content of status reports, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
- Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
- Conduct project postmortems and create recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Estimate the resources, financial and non-financial, and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Direct and manage project from beginning to end.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Organize and conduct weekly product development meetings to ensure product requests are developed accordingly.
- Organize and lead weekly product implementation meetings and SCRUM sessions.
- Oversee technical integration between partner/vendor systems and internal distribution systems.
- Interface with product drivers and clients to determine the product’s future direction.
Technical and Business Acumen
- Estimate the resources, financial and non-financial, and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Apply practical business knowledge to ensure project implementation is aligned with business needs.
Required / Desired Knowledge, Experiences and Skills:
Requirements:
- Solid working knowledge of current Internet technologies and programming languages.
- Technically competent with various software programs including Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook).
Preferred:
- Eight years work experience in a project management or related capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution
- Experience managing the implementation of an enterprise platform.
Education/Certifications:
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- PMP / Agile or Scrum Certification required.
Preferred:
- Lean Six Sigma or Other Process Management Certification
Travel Requirements:
Ability to travel as needed to support assigned projects.

This is an hybrid role based out of our Pembroke Pines, FL office.
When you’ll be doing it.
While there is some flexibility in the hours, this position will be Monday-Friday during regular business hours (approximately 8:00am-5:00pm). Occasional overtime may be required according to business need.
