AbilityLinks is a dynamic community of self-identified job seekers with disabilities, Veterans, and companies that value inclusion who can benefit from your services.

A caring human touch

AbilityLinks information and referral counselors can help you make connections to job seekers and businesses, and share job leads and resources.

Why did AbilityLinks begin?

Created in 2001 and dedicated to helping persons with disabilities and Veterans find jobs, AbilityLinks is a web-based program of Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Northwestern Medicine.

People with disabilities and Veterans want the opportunity to pursue a career of their own choosing but have an unemployment rate that is two time higher than average, not counting individuals who become discouraged and stop actively seeking work. At the same time, businesses that value a diverse work force lag behind when it comes to disability inclusion. They want greater access to this talent pool.
