This position provides administrative support for the benefit programs by processing invoices, wire transfers & check requests as well as managing the recordkeeping requirements related to these expenses. This position also is the main contact for all field HR escalations and questions related to the benefit programs. This position handles government requests, legal requests and court orders as well as manages compliance requirements and data validation controls in order for the Corporate Benefits Department to provide high quality, effective and compliant benefit programs, administration and service for all participants.

  • Manage, research and resolve the escalations and questions from Field HR in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Perform data validation both on inbound and outbound data interface files.
  • Verify reports, files and payments to and from vendors to ensure accuracy of data and timely processing and distribution of benefit payments (invoices and funding requests). Includes completing all internal controls related to benefit payments.
  • Enter and track the invoice and payment information ensuring accuracy of data and appropriate tracking, reporting and retrieval of data.
  • Ensure vendors are submitting invoices timely and payments are made in accordance with the vendor contract and the Company's payment policy.
  • Research and resolve any billing issues. Respond timely, thoroughly and thoughtfully to internal departments, members of the corporate benefits team and external vendors on all issues related to billing
  • Provide department support related to Annual Enrollment, special projects and record retention.
  • Responsible for working with the HRIS/Payroll systems and departments on file feed issues/questions relating to the benefit program(s) including deductions, taxes, etc when there are participant issues. Process any payroll deduction refunds or adjustments timely.
  • Manage and respond timely to government requests, including court orders, legal requests and Medicare coordination forms.
  • Evaluate, recommend and revise internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
  • Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.


  • HS diploma or equivalent, OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of work experience.
  • Bachelor degree in discipline related to functional work preferred.
  • Relevant administrative/operational support experience in a fast-paced office environment or manufacturing operations is a plus.
  • Able to demonstrate good problem-solving skills and appropriately apply proven solutions. Consistently deliver prescribed outcomes in a timely and accurate manner with appropriate guidance. Apply existing processes and procedures to solve problems and may receive guidance for problems that are non-routine.
  • Demonstrated project management and attention to detail skills.
  • Demonstrated work experience interacting directly with relevant party in resolving complaints or grievances or related customer service experience.
  • Able to apply general functional computer knowledge in utilizing Microsoft Windows, especially Excel in order to complete work assignments. Knowledge of SAP, online banking systems, and Oracle Cloud HRIS/Payroll are a plus. May require knowledge of, or ability to quickly learn specialized software related to the position.
  • Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to successfully manage multiple priorities and demonstrated ability to track and meet deliverable deadlines.
  • Able to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people when completing work assignments.
