A clinically competent, registered, professional nurse who prescribes, delegates and coordinates nursing care to the hospitalized patient through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation. Effectively interacts with patient, significant others, and other health team members, while maintaining ANA standards of professional nursing practice. This nurse functions in a leadership, overseeing daily unit operations, staff, and care delivery, utilizing a staff focused leadership model. Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 years related nursing experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Able to serve as a clinical role model, resource and educator
  • Ability to problem-solve and develop creative solutions in a team environment
  • Able to serve in a leadership capacity and facilitate teamwork
  • Serves as a leader for customer service initiatives
  • Must live within 30 minutes of hospital for call requirements
  • Current State of Illinois RN License in good standing

Required Education: Bachelor's of science in Nursing


  • BLS
  • Specialty certification preferred
