General Summary: Administer various human resources functions including earned leave, military leave, short-term
disability leave, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), reasonable accommodation, earned leave and record management.

Requirements: Associate degree (or equivalent credits), or a Bachelor's degree (preferred) in human resources, business, or a related field, and a minimum of three to five years experience working with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), reasonable accommodation and record management preferably in an educational setting.

Duties: 1.Serves as the point of contact, providing employees with detailed information on short-term disability (STD), long-term disability (LTD), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other leaves as applicable. Reviews and confirms leave eligibility. Serves as the college's liaison with third party administrators approving leaves.
2.Serves as the point of contact for employees requesting reasonable accommodation to perform the essential functions of the job. Reviews, determines and tracks accommodation requests; investigates ways to accommodate requests.
3.Establishes and maintains personnel records, Act 153 clearances, and I-9 records. Serves as primary contact and reviewer of Act 153 clearances and I-9's for compliance. Notifies employees when Act 153 clearances are up for renewal.
4.Coordinates with Legal to update and maintain accurate and timely retention policies and procedures.
5.Provides information to process grievances, complaints, and legal issues.
6.Prepares faculty earned leave reports to ensure earned leave transactions and balances for faculty, academic deans, and payroll. Confirms eligibility of requests to bank credits or withdraw credits for payment or course reduction
7.Prepares and sends reasonable assurance letters to adjunct faculty.
8.Supports Human Resource and college-wide professional development objectives.
9.Maintains the records and process regarding secondary employment of CCAC employees.
10.Promotes and supports diversity recruitment efforts as required in support of college objectives
11.Provides support/ coverage & customer service, phone coverage as needed to support the Human Resource Department.
12.Manages the Employee Assistance Program as a backup to the Employee Relations Administrator.
13.Maintains portal pages.
14.Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

Clearances: Current criminal record/child abuse clearances will be required if offered the position and in order to be employed at the College. The three clearances are Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Records Check, and Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Criminal Background Check.
