Performs duties aboard a CH-47F aircraft that are essential to the operation of the aircraft. Works with aviators under the team concept. Performs the duties of an aircraft mechanic when not assigned flight missions. Will also be required to teach aircraft systems in an academic setting to student Non-rated Crewmembers.
The individual has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks.
Educational / Experience Requirement/ Qualifications:
HS - Required Plus FAA A & P license or appropriate military occupational specialty with non-rated crewmember flight training. Applicable training courses required.
Must be able to maintain FAA CL III medical certificate.
Minimum of 150 hours of CH-47F experience in the applicable aircraft, have qualified/served in such capacity during military service or have been trained to the requirements of the applicable Service Guidance modified to the contract requirements.

Our Huntsville facility is located in the JetPlex Industrial Park at the Huntsville International Airport and includes office and manufacturing space to support production and maintenance of mission systems and aircraft modification kits in addition to a variety of logistics inventory needs. This operation is currently executing multiple programs with structural and electrical fabrication, kitting, final assembly, aircraft modifications via field teams, and New Equipment Training and Technical Support (NETT).
Our Warner Robins facility is located in The Park off Russell Parkway and includes office and some light manufacturing space to support production and maintenance of systems similar to those in our Huntsville facility. This operation is currently executing multiple programs which provide engineering and logistics services for the modification of aircraft.
SSAI is certified to ISO 9100 and 9110. SSAI’s core capabilities include mechanical, electrical, and electronic design, test, avionics engineering, software engineering, aircraft modification design/installation, modification kit production, and related logistics services.
