Physics Equipment Testing: Physics I will be responsible for general x-ray, portable x-ray, and mobile C-arm testing. Physics I staff will also be assigned advanced modality surveys (e.g. CT, MRI, FGI, Nuclear Medicine) which will be overseen by a Senior Physicist. Depending on the experience of the Physics I staff member these surveys may be performed under full supervision or may be performed independently with the Senior Physicist reviewing the final report. Optimization of Techniques/Clinical Applications: The Physicist will assure equipment is used optimally and will work with technologists and radiologists to develop clinical and research protocols.
