Delivers training to physician end users by following scripted curriculum developed by IT Principal Trainer, applying knowledge of business workflows and Cadence policy & procedures. Conducts training and optimization classes as needed on any shift and weekends as necessary. Arrives prior to scheduled training class to prepare the room, including setting up the training environment and other logistics. Ensures curriculum lessons are updated. Leads training in an effective and engaging manner, incorporating principles of adult learning. Assesses learning needs before, during and after each class. Makes adjustments to training delivery based on physician end user and training team feedback. Supports Super User in completing end user proficiencies in the department/unit. Follows established process for staff who are not able to pass the assessment, and communicates the results to the IT Principal Trainer and employee's manager for follow up. Help maintain training and Super User reference sites. Provides super user and physician end user support at system Go Live and post Go Live according to coverage schedule, including rounding to departments/units as assigned. Answers physician help desk support calls and resolves support tickets in a timely manner. Identifies, communicates and escalates training or support issues to ensure timely resolution. Participates in monthly newsletter development and Super User content creation. Participates in providing on call coverage as necessary to support physician and mid-level provider use of the Electronic Medical Record system. Identifies need for training tips, classroom training curriculum changes based on problem resolution interactions with physicians, and participation in upgrade activities of the team. Assist IT Principal Trainer with Master Train Environment build. Escalates problems in a timely manner to Lead and/or Manager, other IT on-call/management staff and vendors as necessary. Recommends and facilitates our organizational change model and tools for solutions. Completes change impact assessments for solutions using current and future workflows. Creates deliverables for these change tools when needed: change road map, communications plan, impact assessment, and training plan. Works with Epic staff and organization business and end user communities to ensure the system meets the organization's business needs. Participates in design sessions, validation sessions, workflow re-engineering sessions, and testing sessions. AA/EOE. Required: Minimum 3 years experience in using information systems. BS, BA in health care related field or business or equivalent job experience. Preferred / Desired: Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience. Prior classroom training experience and expertise. Knowledge of Cadence business workflows and information systems experience. Familiar with adult education and best practices in regards to adult learning. Prior experience working with physicians
