Description

The Lead Diet Office Representative is a key resource of the Food & Nutrition Department. This position will work with the manager to keep the Diet Office computer system up to date at all times. This position will offer Cbord support to co-workers when needed. Responsible for answering the telephone, processing communications regarding diet orders and maintaining the diet office system with current, correct information. Assist Manager with maintenance of the Cbord database system. Update nutrition information and recipes accurately. Lead trainer for new employees in the Diet Office, provide nutrition education support. Ensure all Diet Office reports and office work are completed. Main point of contact for Diet Office when manager is not present. Proactively seek ways to improve Diet Office procedures. Complete staff in-services at the direction of the manager. Completes other duties assigned by manager. EOE Minorities/Women/Disabled/Veterans. VEVRAA Federal Contractor.

Hours vary between 5:30am-2:45pm and every other weekend is required

Qualifications

Required: Nutritional Service Diet Office experience. Education: Minimum: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Desired: Healthcare diet office experience and lead or supervisor experience desired. Hospital Diet Office Experience.

Experience in food service software systems is preferred.
