Position Summary:
This position will be responsible to assist in maintaining and repairing high speed packaging equipment while maximizing production requirements that meet/exce ed manufacturing specifications under the guidance of the Maintenance Coordinator and skilled Maintenance Technicians .

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Technical school training or apprenticeship
  • 2-3 years proven maintenance mechanic experience in a fast-paced lean manufacturing environment preferred; CPG (consumer packaged goods) industry a plus - OR - a combination of equivalent coursework/certification and relatable experience (industrial, auto, etc.)
  • Must be certified as Maintenance Technician 1 at the Church & Dwight Victorville plant.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude including basic knowledge in electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic; strong shop math skills; and strong troubleshooting ability required
  • Strong computer skills required; previous experience with SAP or CMMS preferred.
