The Role
GovExec is seeking a Manager of Salesforce Support to join our team. The Revenue Operations team is leading the charge on the alignment of GovExec’s sales and marketing to drive growth through operational efficiency. In this role, you will be a critical player in administering the Salesforce instance of the organization and supporting our sales and marketing functions to win revenue. As the Manager of Salesforce Support you will report directly to the Senior Vice President and Head of Marketing.
Responsibilities
- Manage and update organizational permissions, user roles, sharing rules, workflows and groups
- Implement system wide updates and mandatory enhancements for optimized performance
- Assess current CRM setup for vulnerabilities or areas where we can improve our processes
- Onboard and train new Salesforce users and provide ongoing support and best practices
- Collaborate with operations team leadership to develop and roll out CRM and data hygiene best practice documentation and resources
- Assist with the integration of any net new business units to the Salesforce organization
- Make recommendations on improving existing business processes using Salesforce and other technologies
- Manage the influx of support tickets and sales needs
- Manage integration connections between Salesforce and other marketing tools
- Work with implementation partners on the maintenance and roll out of larger Salesforce initiatives (for example, adding new tools to the existing Salesforce instance)
- Perform database maintenance tasks including diagnostic texting and duplicate entry cleansing
- Maintain sales cloud, as well as owning the creation of custom reports and dashboards
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in Salesforce Administration and a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity.
- Ability to provide Salesforce onboarding, end-user support, and documented training resources
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in data management, data analysis, analytics, and tech-oriented problem solving
- Experience working within an Agile environment
- A Salesforce Administration Certification is preferred
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or another relevant degree is preferred

The compensation range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 per year.
