Environmental Surgical Centers/Off-Site CDH Centers: Conducts all hiring, on-boarding and training of staff. Tours and inspects daily facility on a daily basis. Coordinates the execution of correction of issues to meet or exceed customer service expectations. Conducts inspections of areas utilizing Sentact as well as the Dazo Compliance. Supports ongoing learning and skill development for staff; provides coaching and mentoring; assigns stretch goals, cross-training and other opportunities for career development within NM. Develops, implements and enforces the departmental policies and procedures. Complies with all AORN, OSHA regulations and other local, state and federal government regulations. Identifies and implements technical operational process changes to improve performance, productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction. Valets Services: Responsible/oversight for contract for Valet and Shuttle services. Conducts contract negotiations and prepares RFP's as needed. Holds weekly/monthly reviews with Valet and Shuttle Vendor to ensure service standards are being met. Participates in hiring decisions and on-boarding practices. Audits weekly/bi-weekly/monthly contracted hours reporting. Develops and maintains a thorough vehicle maintenance program for shuttle buses and vehicles. Environmental Project Management: Conducts facility rounds in public areas to ensure compliance of cleaning standards as well as making recommendation to Facility Services about any facility needs, including carpet and furniture replacement. Works with the Environmental Services Management Staff to plans monthly, bi-annual and annual project cleaning and ensure compliance. Conducts all hiring, on-boarding and training of project staff. Other Duties: Works with the Manager of Hospitality Environment with Joint Commission, IDPH, IEPA, and OSHA regulations and other local, state, and federal governmental regulations. Responsible for the administrative duties within Sentact. Responsible for conducting all monthly EOC Rounds for the off-site locations. Reports out all information about EOC Rounds to the Hazardous Communication Coordinator.
Required: Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or attained within 12 months of start date. 5 years of Hospital Management experience. Preferred: Master's degree in Business or Health Administration
