We are seeking an entry level candidate who has the desire to learn about business operations while supporting the Department of Defense Computer/Electronic Accommodation Program (CAP). The candidate will ultimately learn about assistive technology and acquisitions in the federal government while performing key functions within the Assessment and Acquisition Branches. The Assessment Branch works directly with customers, federal employees with disabilities, and wounded, ill and injured Service members to identify and process requests for assistive technology. The Acquisition Branch works with vendors to implement federal acquisition regulations in support of procurement. Candidate will perform administrative tasks, conduct market research, assist in records management, assist in planning and coordinating activities, review information for accuracy, and complete documentation in accordance with applicable laws. Candidate must be detail oriented, professional, and possess strong communication skills. Excellent time management and organization is required. The candidate must be self-motivated, be able to multi-task and have basic computer skills, including MS Office. The desire to increase employment of people with disabilities and wounded Service members is a must. A Bachelor's degree is required for this position and the candidate would need to obtain a clearance that requires U.S. Citizenship.
