The Coding Analyst acts as the primary resource for coding support for the RMG billing office and physician practices. Responsibilities include: physician and staff coding education, maintenance and update of coding related materials and validation of new CPT and ICD-9 codes. The analyst will compile and distribute code utilization data to RMG Administration and providers and perform focused chart reviews when necessary, to ensure compliance with all RMG, Federal and State requirements. Additionally, the Coding Analyst will maintain knowledge of the payer credentialing process and provide back-up coverage to the Credentialing Coordinator. Requirements: Minimum: Minimum 2 years of physician chart auditing required. Complete knowledge of CPT & ICD9 coding and CMS rules and regulations.

Education: Minimum: Certified Physician coding required (RHIA, CCS-P, CCS, etc,).

Licensure: Minimum: CERT CODER,CCS; Preferred: RHIA
