Job Summary and Primary Responsibilities
Job Summary:
The Sales Operations Analyst Supports the Commercial Organization in developing, maintaining, and training of reporting dashboards, while driving insights and analysis to key stakeholders in the Commercial Organization. Specific reporting and analysis will focus on sales territory profitability, revenue trends, forecasting, opportunity mining, and ad-hoc requests. The Sales Operations Analyst will utilize KPI's and programs developed by the sales operations team in decision making on asset allocation within markets. Engages directly with Sales to drive tactical account planning and provide recommendations for quick correction to rending in performance.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develops, improves and maintains Commercial dashboards and tools
- Provides standard revenue and performance reporting/analysis for business reviews; build reports/sales tools and ad hoc analytics
- Actively monitors shipping and asset carrying costs and recommends actions to drive profitability
- Prepares content for executive-level quarterly business reviews and ad-hoc data analysis for business units around customer, products and cost to serve
- Assists with training sales organization on IT toolset
- Participates in internal improvements and efficiencies within the Sales Operations team
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills / Capabilities
- Proficient in SQL and Relational Database Modeling, Python is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software (including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint)
- Proficient with SAP modules or other relevant software packages
Education and Experience
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience
- Prefer Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or Economics
- At least 2 years of experience in business analysis and/or medical device fulfillment
Salary Range: $63,000 - $105,000
