Job Summary and Primary Responsibilities
Performs inspection, checks, testing, and sampling procedures for product manufacturing. Carries out packaging line, manufacturing inspections, and sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials to ensure that company standards are met. Monitors critical equipment and instrumentation. Assists with validating or troubleshooting testing methods, including assays. Reviews bulk raw materials once analytical data is evaluated.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Performs inspections on all components that enter and leave the facility, accurately documenting the results of such inspections
  • Identifies waste and improvement opportunities in the department and utilizes six sigma tools to solve problems
  • Supports the initiation of Non-Conforming Material Reports and reports findings to the Quality Engineering team in support of material disposition
  • Keeps accurate records for all calibrations, reworks, and deviations
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills / Capabilities

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Good organization and documentation skills
  • Solid ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment
  • Proficient in ASME Y14.5M and blueprint reading
  • Perform duties in compliance with applicable FDA and state regulations as well as standards including, but not limited to, ISO 13485

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires a minimum of 2 - 4 years of related experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • AA in a technical field preferred
  • 2+ years experience in a regulated environment required

  • No travel requirements
