Disassembles, cleans, assembles, sterilizes, and stores procedure trays, instruments, equipment and supplies according to prescribed procedures, following established infection control practices. Completes requests to dispense supplies directly to the Operating Rooms and maintaining department supply inventory.
- Previous hospital sterilizing department experience or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience, preferred 2+ years experience
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent
