This position supports the Stroke Program and is primarily responsible for stroke education outreach. Responsibilities include development of comprehensive stroke community education platform, delivery of community education, data collection and analysis. Develops comprehensive stroke community education platform in conjunction with Stroke Medical Director and Stroke Program Manager. Develops framework for community stroke education including IRB approved research. Develops contacts and relationships with community members to effectively partner to provide education. Performs assessment of stroke community education needs. Identifies and documents goals associated with community outreach. Identified barriers to effective education and works to ensure resolution. Leads and participates in community education events. Develops methods for data collection and analysis. Manages and updates stroke community education dashboard. Required: 5 years of experience. BSN in nursing. Licensed RN. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Desired: Prior experience with stroke patients. MSN .
