2009 AbilityLinks Awards

Each year Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital honors, recognizes and celebrates people, organizations, businesses and job seekers with disabilities who provide so much to sustain, provide leadership and exemplify the AbilityLinks Consortium mission of increasing employment of qualified people with disabilities.

This year’s winners will be honored at the AbilityLinks Consortium Conference and Employment to be held on Thursday, April 9, 2009 at the Doubletree Guest Suites & Conference Center, Downers Grove, Illinois, a full day of education and networking for the business and disasbility communities.

AbilityLinks award winners will be honored during a luncheon featuring a special guest keynote speaker followed immediately by an employment expo for job seekers, recruiters and vendors of disability and employment services.

The Three AbilityLinks Award Categories Are:

Presented to a Job Seeker that use, overcome barriers and achieve success in the workplace.

Presented to an Employer that demonstrate exemplary effort in the recruitment of qualified individuals with disabilities and increase awareness of the value these individuals bring to the workplace.

Presented to a Company or Agency that both recognize the value of recruiting people with disabilities and provide support for the advancement of AbilityLinks.
