New Guide Book Helps Veterans Find Programs Offering Cash Benefits, Job Placement And Training Services

There are many programs and services in place to assist disabled veterans with financial support and finding employment. Navigating the complex interaction between multiple programs and public agencies can be a daunting task. To help, the Institute for Veterans and Military Families at Syracuse University and Griffin-Hammis Associates has prepared a comprehensive guidebook tool. It outlines how cash benefits for disabled veterans are impacted by working and identifies government sponsored job placement and training options for veterans.

The handbook’s focus is on programs offered through the Department of Veterans Affairs, Social Security Administration, Department of Defense and State Vocational Rehabilitation. If you’re a veteran or assisting one with finding employment, click this link to access the guidebook.
