Key job responsibilities
We are looking for a software development engineers that will dive deep into the most complex technical problems to help bring our service to the next level of customer delight. You will lead the development and support of existing systems looking to enhance functionality, increase scale, and transform in new ways to meet our customer demands. You will also create new services and capabilities to meet emerging needs as our business grows. Your knowledge of software development and architecture will be key to ensure we meet our challenges from the user experience through to our data layer at Amazon scale utilizing AWS services. You will work with some of the best and brightest as you learn and grow. This is a unique opportunity to contribute in building microservices-based applications on a serverless platform and many more cutting-edge technologies. We are looking for highly motivated engineers to bring in their ideas and experience to help us reach our goals.

Utility Computing (UC)
AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.
