The Amazon Device Manager (ADM) Software Engineering team develops and builds the products that configure, manage, and report on Amazon's global fleet of end user client devices, such as scanners and tablets. Hundreds of thousands of Amazon associates rely upon these devices to deliver shipments to Amazon retail customers. We provide our critical services in thousands of facilities ranging from Amazon's smallest last-mile emerging market delivery stations to 1M+ square foot robotic facilities.
We are looking for a talented Software Development Engineer to invent new solutions to improve our speed, scale, and efficiency. You will be joining a team that is fully automating device provisioning, device testing frameworks, and improving device reporting to enable complex data-driven decisions with globally impacting scope. Our AWS-based services enable Amazon's software, systems, and operations teams to use the latest technologies in our facilities. We build for performance, availability, security, and cost.

You are passionate about creating maintainable, high quality software with robust automated testing that is built and deployed through continuous delivery (CD). You understand the challenges of operating large-scale systems in production, and you use that expertise in your designs and implementations. Key job responsibilities
SDE-II in this role will be collaborating with a team of highly talented engineers located in Seattle/Bellevue location to develop mobile device management solution on Android and AWS. As an individual contributor you would be raising the bar for technical design and code. Work on product features starting with gathering requirements, technical design, coding and operational support. You would work closely with cross functional TPMs, and engineers from other teams to deliver new features to our MDM product.
