Amazon Web Services is seeking a Sr Account Manager to support our US Space Force (USSF) customers, including the Program Executive Office (PEO) for Assured Access to Space, the Space Training and Readiness Command, the PEO for Operational Test and Training Infrastructure, and Space Futures.
In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of a growing business in the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community. Your responsibilities will include establishing, building, and managing the growth of programs and pursuits in a high-profile account. This will include developing overall business strategies, collaborating across AWS, and engaging with customers and prime contractors to influence and accelerate adoption.
Key job responsibilities
As a Sr Sales Executive for the USSF Customer, you will own the relationships, sales motions, account planning and execution, and revenue attainment for an exciting and diverse set of USSF Customers. You will obsess over your customers by Diving Deep on their missions, programs and objectives, enabling Guardians to be Mission Ready. Responsibilities include working closely with AWS Partners, Emerging Technologies Teammates, AWS Professional Services, and Service Teams across AWS. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust Sales Pipeline across your Customers' enterprises. Working closely with the AWS US Air Force Team in the establishment and management of Customers' AWS accounts will be critical to efficient and timely account provisioning and delivery.
This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and must currently possess an active Secret security clearance. The position further requires that, after start, the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph and satisfy other security related requirements.
