AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. You are leading cross function team to deliver AWS NPI program and launch in global manufacturing locations. You are leading and driving continuous improvement initiative with internal and external partners. You are responsible for the success of the NPI launch and and are accountable for operation excellence.
Key job responsibilities
· Lead cross function team to deliver NPI programs and achieve mass production readiness across AWS global manufacturing sites.
· Define and guide decisions on NPI manufacturing capability and capacity enablement strategy and implementation plan
· Lead and drive continuous improvement for successful NPI release and achieve operation excellence
· Communicate NPI program launch plan and status to leadership including C-suite executive
· Manage program deliverable, risk mitigation and engineering changes from NPI through lifecycle management
