The AWS Hardware Engineering team is driving rapid innovation in the server and storage infrastructure used by Amazon Web Services. Our Software Engineers solve challenging technology problems, and take big bets on new concepts, enabling AWS services to continue to revolutionize the industry.
The ideal candidate for this role is an innovative self-starter. You are a software expert with deep knowledge in embedded systems fundamentals. You use comprehensive system knowledge to find the best solutions to multi-factor problems. You enjoy working with engineers across the company as well as external companies on green field development efforts. You are comfortable collaborating with hardware and software development engineers to define system architecture.

What you will do
You will be a member of a team designing AWS-specific hardware and software. You will be a part of the development effort from conception through production. You will explore emerging technologies and their impact on AWS. You will work closely with the AWS engineering teams to tailor devices for the AWS environment.
