This AWS PR Manager will bring extensive media relations experience, strong press relationships, and expert communication skills to the AWS Corporate Communications Team. This person is an experienced storyteller capable of translating complex technical concepts into terms that people across the world can understand. A strong candidate will demonstrate exceptional ownership of the programs they’ve run, a knack for being ahead of the next news cycle, and the ability to quickly earn the trust of a wide range of stakeholders.
This PR Manager will partner across the AWS business and provide strategic counsel to our stakeholders and business leaders in high-profile situations. This person will frequently operate at the center of a cross-functional team and must be comfortable working across a range of countries, cultures, and business units. In this role, the candidate will also have an opportunity to develop innovative communications and influencer relations strategies.
The ideal candidate enjoys diving deep into industry issues to understand how they are redefining the technology landscape, and then explaining these topics to media so they can write accurate articles to educate and inspire customers.
