We seek a seasoned contributor to join the Global Ad Sales team as Principal, Global Video Strategy and Go-To-Market (VSGTM). This role will report directly to the Head of Global Video Go-To-Market and focus specifically on product GTM that contributes to our global Entertainment Brand Partnerships business, developing global product parity across 15+ Prime Video ads locales. He/she will work daily across multiple product teams and partner with the broader Global and regional GTM teams, and work directly with the Brand Partnerships packaging lead. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast growing and entrepreneurial organization, bringing innovation and growing adoption of Amazon Video Ads. In particular he/she will:
• Work directly with Product and Ops teams and develop revenue driving products
• Responsible for writing product requirements and informing future roadmap additions to help innovate on future state Sponsorship ad innovation
• Aggregate VOC and partner with Global GTM to drive video solutions for customers and growth for Amazon; produce stack-ranked set of sales priorities, and influence roadmap decisions and trade-offs
• Work with Finance to develop automated systems and processes that will monitor and support campaign pacing and optimizations
• Support the vision, value proposition, planning, and packaging solutions to grow our video GTM approach across video sponsorship products
• Work directly with Brand Partnerships GTM and Regional GTM via sales enablement and demand generation strategies to achieve our revenue and adoption targets
• Assist in regional training development for new product execution
Key job responsibilities
The ideal candidate will possess a revenue and strategic leadership background within video and STV that enables them to drive a comprehensive go-to-market strategy around how Amazon approaches video advertising. This leader will partner cross-functionally across leaders within Amazon’s video properties, and work closely with Product, Supply, and Marketing to drive revenue growth in this segment.
