The Software Development Engineers (SDEs) on the Product Knowledge Store team use the latest AWS technologies, graph databases, and Ontology standards to re-envision how we codify and serve knowledge about customer-facing products. We exemplify the highest engineering standards in order to serve the Amazon product catalog schema with high throughput and low latency.

* Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.
* Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
* Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
* Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use.
* Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
* Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
About the team
The Product Knowledge Store team provides interfaces to read and edit up-to-date and versioned catalog schema content. We optimize for consistency, latency, throughput, maintainability, extensibility, and ease of integration, in that order. We enable catalog schema experts to operate with the data model using ontology standards like RDF/OWL/Sparql, while supporting CRUD operations using the existing website-facing data model.
