You will be responsible for taking the engineering capabilities to the next level in the API protection.
You will join the "code scanning" team, responsible for developing Noname's next-generation API discovery methodology.
As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for:
- Developing core platform components for Noname's code scanning team using cutting-edge technologies.
- Playing a key role in building scalable backend solutions that process and analyze source code at scale.
- Owning the full development lifecycle, including designing, architecting, developing, testing, deploying, and operating core customer-facing components.
- Conducting deep-dive research on programming languages and backend frameworks, integrating insights into the platform.
- Managing dynamic workloads, including feature development, debugging, hotfixes, and issue resolution in a Python environment.
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 3+ years of experience in designing and developing scalable systems
- Have a solid backend development background with experience in a major framework (e.g., Flask, Express, Spring Boot)
- Have experience designing and developing microservices, including orchestration, scaling, and automation within a CI/CD workflow.
- Have 1+ year of experience with Python and familiarity with modern software development practices
- Have in-depth experience with SQL databases, including schema design and optimization
- Have the ability to prioritize and adapt to evolving development needs
- Have exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP or Azure)
- Have experience working with large language models (LLMs) like OpenAI
