As we launch new technologies and tools that drive future customer experiences, we are looking for a Principal Product Manager-Tech to serve as the Editor-in-Chief of our Knowledge Management program. In this role, you will be responsible for defining our content strategy and developing architecture, infrastructure, and mechanisms to empower teams to create high-quality and effective documentation and other developer-facing artifacts. Bringing a strong passion to help developers build the next generation of customer-facing applications, you will build a Knowledge Management program that will be a critical part of delivering a high-quality developer experience. This position requires experience in writing technical documentation, the ability to learn and understand our technologies, and a relentless commitment to long-term customer outcomes.
Key job responsibilities
- Serve as Editor in Chief for all technical content, establishing editorial vision and quality standards
- Create and manage a comprehensive knowledge management/documentation strategy that supports both internal and external developers
- Define and continually refine the information architecture and workflow, implementing mechanisms and tools to enable Tech Writers, Engineers, Solutions Architects, and Evangelists to generate content
- Curate and organize content, establishing and maintaining a clear narrative and unified voice across our documentation
- Regularly audit content and measure effectiveness
- Share and evangelize our documentation strategy with key contributors and users
- Seek feedback from external developers to continually improve strategy and artifact
