Amazon seeks a Manager III to lead a team of high-performing Program Managers within Amazon Global Logistics (AGL). Key job responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of Program Managers, focusing on hiring, coaching, and retention
- Drive cross-functional program execution across multiple verticals
- Develop and implement program strategies aligned with business objectives
- Establish and track KPIs to measure program success and drive continuous improvement
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to optimize resource allocation
- Evaluate and prioritize projects based on customer needs and technical requirements
- Identify and mitigate risks before they become major issues
- Manage project budgets and resource allocation effectively
- Present regular updates to senior leadership on status, risks, and process changes
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and communication channels
A day in the life
As a Manager III, you'll start your day leading team meetings to align on priorities and remove blockers. You'll spend time mentoring your direct reports, reviewing program metrics, and identifying opportunities for process improvement. Throughout the day, you'll collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive strategic initiatives forward, analyze data to make informed decisions, and ensure project milestones stay on track.
