This roles specifically supports our functions that protect brands. Amazon knows how important it is for customers to be able to find trustworthy selection from the brands they love, and strives the be the best place for businesses to start and grow their their brand. As a business line lawyer, you will get to work directly with brands and our product, brand relations, and technology teams to craft novel, scalable solutions that help brands protect their IP, report issues to Amazon, and ensure they are accurately represented in our store.
Key job responsibilities
As business line counsel for WWCT, you will:
- Advise on a broad range of product, commercial, and regulatory matters
- Directly advise the leadership team and influence the direction of the business
- Support the development of AI and other novel science techniques to protect Amazon's store at scale
- Advise on pre-litigation legal disputes
- Work cross-functionally, particularly with brand relations and IP specialist legal teams
- Lead strategic advice on external engagement and legislative initiatives
- Build processes that address risk while providing Amazon with the flexibility to move quickly to protect our customers

About the team
You will be part of the Legal team within NA Stores Legal that supports Amazon's WW Customer Trust team. This team sits within the Selling Partner Services business, the global team that enables third-party sellers to sell products in Amazon's store, but has Amazon-wide responsibilities.
