AWS is seeking an experienced Strategic Account Manager to lead and expand our partnerships with leading higher education institutions across New Jersey, Delaware, and New York. This role will focus on driving cloud adoption and digital transformation initiatives within major public and private universities, community colleges, and research institutions across the tri-state area.
Key job responsibilities
The Strategic Account Manager will be a key member of the team responsible for providing business leadership and creative direction for this highly visible customer base. You will build and maintain relationships in key accounts, develop and manage opportunities, and lead a large team of extended resources. You will define an executive relationship strategy within the account, including building a strong working relationship with the AWS senior leadership team for executive sponsorship, executive business reviews, and shaping go-to-market opportunities.

As an AWS Senior Account Manager for higher education in NJ, DE, and NY, you'll drive transformational innovation across diverse institutions. Your dynamic day involves engaging executives, academic leaders, and IT teams, discussing how cloud technology can revolutionize teaching, research, and administration.
