We are seeking a skilled attorney to support international trade, sanctions, export control, and supply chain regulatory matters for Amazon Web Services (AWS). The successful candidate will provide strategic input on legal and business decisions, navigate complex regulatory environments, and employ creative approaches to problem solving.
This position plays a crucial role in supporting AWS globally and requires a talented and motivated individual capable of managing a broad range of matters, in a rapidly evolving business landscape. Some travel, domestic and international, will be required.
Key job responsibilities
- Providing counsel on emerging trade laws on technology such as AI, quantum, and semiconductors;
- Advising on sanctions, export control, and other trade matters;
- Supporting regulatory engagements;
- Collaborating globally to develop innovative international trade compliance solutions;
- Offering guidance on forthcoming regulations and enforcement trends; and
- Working directly with business units and cross-functional teams.
