As a Sr Applied Scientist in WW Ops Finance Standardization & Automation (S&A) team, you will play a key role in transforming the way Operations Finance teams create and bridge financial plans, consume insights, identify root causes and prepare XBRs through a combination of Generative AI, Machine Learning and Economic models. We are looking for a Senior Applied Scientist to join our Applied Science team to work on AI solutions.
You will be responsible for the design, architecture, and implementation of AI/ML products and work in the intersection of Science, Product, and Engineering. You will push the boundaries of ML and Generative AI techniques to drive outcomes and transformation for our business with hundreds of billions of dollars of annual spend. Key job responsibilities
- Understand large complex use cases across the business and design scalable, efficient, automated model solutions
- Drive and lead strategic initiatives to employ the most recent advances in ML/AI in a fast-paced, experimental environment
- Collaborate with business, product and engineering stakeholders to innovate on behalf of customers leveraging data science methodologies, and partner with engineers and scientists to design, develop, and scale machine learning and AI models.
- Adapt statistical and machine learning methodologies for Ops Finance by developing and testing models, running computational experiments, and fine-tuning model parameters.
- Communicate verbally and in writing to business and internal stakeholders with various levels of technical knowledge, educate stakeholders on our research and data science practice, and deliver actionable insights and recommendations
- Develop code to analyze data (SQL, PySpark, Scala, etc.) and build statistical and machine learning models and algorithms (Python, R, Scala, etc.).
- Mentor and grow the scientists in the team
