Job Description

The Program Leader I, HR is responsible for providing planning, support, and overall coordination of the employee programs for the health system.
Responsibilities:
- Possesses strong oral and written communication skills. Effectively communicates and collaborates with all layers of management and employee groups in diverse settings.
- Maintains employee inquiries, requests or reports and responds in a timely and considerate manner.
- Acts as a technical and informational resources for the department running reports and applying rigorous analytical skills in support of improvement projects.
- Effectively communicates and builds data process solutions.
- Support the creation, development, measurement and report of departmental metrics to measure key programs and opportunities.
- Possesses strong attention to detail and superior organizational skills to track progress, monitor timelines and provide administrative support for department initiatives.
- Adapts behaviors and work methods in response to new information, changing conditions, customer needs and team building.
- Builds trust with customers and team members.
- Provides day-to-day operational management for the system wide employee and physician apparel website and process flow.
- Maintains master records of all job classifications, codes and departments approved to participate in the apparel program and ensures all data remains accurate and current as positions are added or removed.
- Leads data processes in collaboration with NM IS including auditing data files to ensure accuracy, identifying system bugs, and developing and testing solutions.
- Writes communications, FAQ’s and supplemental materials in support of program policies and campaigns.
- Manages vendor relationships(s) related to the apparel program, which includes tracking inventory, sourcing new items based on employee feedback, developing project timelines, tracking tasks and guiding vendor customer service.
- Creates purchase orders and processes invoices and check requests.
- Professionally represents Northwestern Medicine by attending or hosting appropriate internal and external events, such as program education or fit sessions.
