The Manager will join a dynamic team that works across Europe, Middle East, Africa, India and Asia Pacific, in support of Amazon’s global consumer and digital businesses. Like our business interests, our policy issues are broad, forward-thinking, and driven by what is best for our customers. The International Public Policy team works with a wide range of national, local, and supranational policymakers, industry organizations, and non-governmental organizations across policy issues spanning the consumer and commercial environment - including but not limited to digital technology, consumer affairs, connectivity, economic development, e-commerce exports, logistics, devices, and tax.
This role will support advocacy and outreach to policymakers for Project Kuiper, Amazon’s initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
The Manager will work closely with cross-functional Kuiper teams including Regulatory, Business, and Legal teams, to manage senior policymaker engagement to support Kuiper’s country entry and business needs across the European Union, including defining strategy, executing advocacy campaigns, and representing the company with policymakers, consultants, and trade associations. The Manager will also be able to immediately and directly enhance Amazon’s advocacy on a broad range of telecoms and space-related policy issues. The position may be based in Brussels or Paris.
