We are seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer for the AWS Data Center Security Operational Excellence team.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data analytics solutions to drive operational excellence in our security programs. Responsibilities include gathering data requirements from stakeholders, designing and building automated reporting solutions, creating data visualization tools, and implementing metrics frameworks that measure program effectiveness. You will collaborate with internal teams to identify key performance indicators, develop data models, and create actionable insights that improve security operations.
The right candidate will possess strong technical skills in data analytics, with experience in building BI solutions and metrics frameworks. You must have a proven track record of translating complex data into clear, actionable insights. Success in this role requires thriving in an entrepreneurial environment and adapting to changing priorities. This means you can both develop high-level analytics strategies and execute detailed technical work independently. You should be analytically minded, innovative, self-motivated, and an excellent team player. Candidates should demonstrate experience in continuous improvement through data-driven decision making, and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will identify data gaps, improve reporting efficiency, manage competing priorities, and balance stakeholder needs with technical limitations. An ability to handle multiple complex data projects simultaneously, develop robust analytical solutions, and deliver meaningful insights in a timely manner is essential.
