The Linear Customer Experiences (LEX) team is responsible for bringing this compelling Live TV experience to life across all Prime Video client platforms. We're seeking talented Software Development Engineers to join our Living Room LEX team, building immersive experiences for Web and 3P Living Room devices (Smart TVs, gaming consoles, streaming devices). Our living room apps need to handle the complexities of different TV platforms while delivering a consistent, high-quality viewing experience optimized for the lean-back environment. You will be working on features/projects where you need to build tech from ground-up involving contributing to the entire software development life cycle.
Key job responsibilities
* Design and implement Linear TV experiences for Web and 3PLR platforms
* Build performant UI components optimized for TV navigation and remote control input
* Create sophisticated program guides and channel browsing experiences
* Implement efficient rendering techniques for resource-constrained devices
* Optimize application startup time and runtime performance
* Work with partner teams to integrate with backend services and APIs to enable personalized content recommendations
