We're looking for a customer-obsessed, technically savvy Ad Tech Product Specialist with digital advertising experience to help us scale a fast-growing advertising solution that our Buy with Prime (DTC) merchants love. In this role, you'll work directly with our customers and digital ad agency partners, building traffic-driving plans that help them take full advantage of our newest Amazon DTC advertising solutions, implementing tracking solutions, and presenting strategic expansion and optimization opportunities.
The Buy with Prime and Multi-Channel Fulfillment team builds commerce services to support merchants in growing their direct to consumer (DTC) eCommerce businesses. Our flagship product to address this opportunity is Buy with Prime (BwP), to enable the Prime experience (fast, free delivery and easy returns) and easy checkout using their Amazon wallet on merchant sites. Prime members love having more places with more selection to use their membership, and merchants love how BwP helps them grow their business.
A core, growing part of the Buy with Prime value proposition is traffic-driving, i.e. building new advertising solutions to help our merchant customers reach purchase-ready Amazon shoppers. Our Ad Tech Product Specialists are on the front lines of building out this exciting new business within Amazon and Buy with Prime.
This role is customer facing, where you'll interact with merchants and agencies through campaign pitch > strategy > launch > optimization > renewal cycles.
Key job responsibilities
• Develop a thorough understanding of Amazon Ads solutions including Amazon DSP, Amazon Ad Tag, Amazon Marketing Cloud
• Onboard DTC merchants and their agencies to Amazon Ads solutions, including building campaign strategies, helping implement Amazon Ad Tags, and sharing best practices
• Analyze campaign data, and work with customers to make strategic recommendations, and help implement campaign and creative optimizations
• Report to our leadership team on merchant and campaign performance
• Work cross-functionally across sales, marketing, and tech to ensure we are exceeding merchant expectations
• Partner with sales reps on advancing opps to launch
A day in the life
You'll work directly with some of Buy with Prime's most important merchant customers, with a primary goal to make them as successful as possible with our traffic-driving solutions. This includes:
• Maintaining a broad and in-depth knowledge and understanding of advertising best practices and technologies
• Accelerate customer adoption through education and enablement
• Collaborating with customers in identifying and prioritizing strategic initiatives
• Helping shape the Ad Tech Product Specialist function, including defining and implementing new processes, methodologies, and tools
• Being a thought leader across Amazon organizations to knowledge share on success mechanisms, educate cross-functional teams, and leverage and impact new industry trends
