The Amazon Devices Metrics team builds device middleware and high scaled cloud services, that enable teams across Amazon to collect metrics from Amazon Devices and Applications. The team's technology enables observability of engagement, stability and performance of our devices and apps at scale. Our transport is used by all Amazon Devices (Kindle, Fire Tablets, Fire TV, Tablets and Smart Home Devices) and mobile apps (Amazon Shopping, Alexa Mobile App, Audible, Prime Video etc.).
As the Senior Technical Program Management, you will partner with engineering and product management leaders to build functionality that psans (1) software that run as middleware on our devices on various operating systems, (2) libraries included in iOS and Android mobile apps, (3) multiple high TPS cloud services for ingestion and metric forwarding, and (4) consoles and dashboards enabling teams with Amazon to onboard and monitor metrics.

Key job responsibilities
You will be responsible for influencing feature priorities and getting buy-in from engineering teams for the delivery of large cross-organizational programs. You will leverage your technical knowledge and judgment to drive technical trade-off decisions. You will represent difficult trade-off decisions and solutions clearly to technical and business leaders up to Directors and VPs to help them understand decisions and options. As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be one of the key leaders on the team and have an impact by defining strategy & requirements, developing processes & schedules, and driving forward progress on major initiatives that enable Amazon to improve observability of our engagement, stability, and performance of our devices and apps
