Job Description
Full time days, 6am-6:30pm, rotating weekends,
$3,000 Sign on Bonus
Internal and external New Grads are eligible to receive the sign-on bonus, this does not include internal experienced RN to RN transfers
3S – Observation Unit
3 South is a 16-bed observation unit. This is a fast-paced unit/environment with patients that will be considered observation status. Patients will have a wide variety of different diagnoses/illnesses. Nurses on this unit must be able to assess and coordinate patients discharge planning with many different disciplines. The RN on this unit will need to understand that there will be rapid evaluations of patients to determine safe discharge or possible movement to an inpatient unit.

Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Nursing students who have completed one clinical rotation
- Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, or nursing school students with one semester of clinical completed
- CPR – Basic Life Support
- Physical Demands Requirement:
- Physical demands required for this role include lift/carry up to 50 pounds and a push/pull force up to 50 pounds
Preferred:
- Phlebotomy experience
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Assistant program or Graduate of Phlebotomy course
