The Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging (MSP) Business Applications & Technology (BA&T) team is seeking a Senior System Development Engineer for Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management. The role requires the ability to work with minimal direction, the capacity to move quickly, and the flexibility to deliver high quality results in a fast-paced environment.
The candidate should have a strong technical background with experience with Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software and understanding of integrations with Electrical and Mechanical Computer Aided Design (CAD) software. The role requires an individual who is customer-centric and able to work in a fast-paced environment with an entrepreneurial attitude. They will be expected to collaborate with end-users, cross-functional development teams, and third party vendors in requirements definition, system design/configuration management, application integrations and continuously drive operational excellence through software development best practices. The candidate will be required to dive deep into the system architecture and product development processes to contribute to strategic planning for business scalability.
Key job responsibilities
* Manage and troubleshoot configuration and operational parameters for business applications.
* Implement and maintain third party software integrations with Teamcenter - [example CAD, ERP, ALM software]
* Optimize backup/disaster recovery systems and processes
* Maintain and optimize existing AWS infrastructure implementing solutions that improve efficiency, data security, and optimize cost
* Support Teamcenter integration and migration of enterprise systems - SolidWorks, SAP, Polarion, EPLAN, and Altium Software
* Partner with Solutions Implementation partner to drive adoption of Amazon software development best practices including disaster recovery planning, general code reviews, and change management
