Amazon’s Corporate Development Integration team works with acquired companies to aid their transition to becoming part of Amazon and provides them with a strong foundation for future growth. We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our Financial Integration Program.
Financial Integration Program team members work cross-functionally with acquired companies and various teams in Amazon's CFO, Corporate Development, and Legal organizations to plan for and execute financial integration.
The following CFO organization teams are in scope for the program: Corp Dev Finance, Corp FP&A, Business FP&A and Finance (including AWS, Devices, Advertising, WW Stores, and Operations), Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Finance Ops (Travel, Procurement, Real Estate & Facilities, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable), and FinTech.
Ideal candidates have strong influencing skills and engender trust and respect in all working relationships. They communicate effectively with diverse audiences across multiple disciplines.
Key job responsibilities
- Work with executive business sponsors to define key value drivers for potential acquisitions, implement actionable plans to achieve transaction objectives.
- Dive deep on strategic business and functional aspects of the transaction as well as execution tactics of integration.
- Partnering with subsidiary CFOs in leading overall financial integration.
- Managing workflows across Business Finance, FP&A, and Accounting teams for financial data structure setup, headcount management, corporate allocations, and forecasting deal-driven expenses such as intangibles.
- Enabling full financial forecasting for acquiring business units after deal close.
- Helping acquired companies implement Amazon’s Spending & Transaction Policy.
- Driving decision making and integration planning on legal entity choices for customer and vendor financial transactions.
- Tracking and reporting performance metrics related to original acquisition rationale.
- Identifying and taking action on opportunities to support our partners across Amazon’s CFO organization to more effectively execute functional integration processes.
- Domestic and international travel required, up to 25% of the time
- Lead financial due diligence and integration planning and execution efforts for Amazon's acquisitions.
