AWS Global Startups is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Program Manager, Executive Communications and Team Engagement to lead high-impact initiatives that strengthen culture, elevate internal communications, and drive organizational alignment across our fast-paced, global Startup team.
In this highly visible role, you will serve as a trusted partner to senior leadership, crafting internal narratives, leading key engagement programs, and managing cross-functional rhythms that foster employee connection, clarity, and purpose. You’ll operate at the intersection of executive communications (internal and external), business planning, team experience, building scalable mechanisms and delivering programs that reflect the energy and ambition of our startup customers.
About You
You are a skilled communicator, thoughtful listener, and confident program operator. You thrive in ambiguity, move with urgency, and bring creative solutions to complex challenges. You’re able to influence without authority, build trust across stakeholders, and distill high-level goals into clear, actionable initiatives that scale across regions and roles.
This is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned program manager with strong communication instincts, an operational mindset, and a passion for shaping vibrant, high-performing cultures.
Key job responsibilities
• Design and lead executive communications strategies, including org-wide messaging, leadership updates, and All-Hands content
• Manage organizational engagement rhythms, including All-Team meetings, leadership forums, and team-wide enablement sessions
• Partner closely with senior leaders to shape and articulate long-term priorities and business narratives
• Oversee planning and execution of internal programs focused on employee satisfaction, recognition, and feedback (e.g., internal surveys, pulse mechanisms)
• Produce strategic briefings and performance summaries for leadership reviews, skip-levels, and customer-facing milestones
• Collaborate across AWS to identify culture-building opportunities, coordinate cross-functional planning, and share best practices across peer organizations
• Own project plans and program delivery from inception through execution, with clear metrics, stakeholder alignment, and effective budget oversight
• Act as a culture champion, helping to amplify AWS’s vision to become Earth’s Best Employer through inclusive engagement and visible leadership
