Amazon Web Services is looking for experienced software development engineers to help us build new services that delight our customers at cloud scale. This position is for a developer role with an EC2 Networking team. You will be a part of a team building new services for Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) and adding new features to existing services such as EC2, Amazon VPC IP Address Manager (IPAM) and Bring Your Own IP (BYOIP).

Key job responsibilities
At Amazon an SDE can expect to design flexible and scalable solutions, and work on some of the most complex challenges in large-scale computing by utilizing your skills in data structures, algorithms, and object oriented programming. Help us by designing, building, testing, and operating critical services web services to support our customers networking needs on EC2.
A day in the life
As a member of the EC2 Networking team you’ll design and develop services to deliver new features for customers, both internal and external. You’ll work across teams to build, test, and deploy cloud-scale services. We keep a high bar on operational excellence and you will positively impact the availability, scalability, and performance of our team’s services.

About the team
You will be a member of a two-pizza team building control planes for EC2 Networking. You will take component-level ownership of our team's services to design, code, and scale to meet customer needs. You'll partner with stakeholders to refine the product definition, and lead the design, coding, delivery, and operations for the service.
