Position Responsibilities:
Work with Senior Leadership across Retail, Marketing, Finance, and Deals teams to establish priorities for deal strategy, team bandwidth, and training requirements. Review progress and blockers with Senior Leadership on an ongoing basis. Systematically identify gaps in existing processes and own business requirements to build efficient tools for sourcing, tracking, training, performance forecasting, and inventory planning. Tailor these tools for Consumables-specific deal nuances (e.g. item profitability, Vendor funding, deal performance thresholds and historical pricing tenets that are not Consumables friendly, Subscribe and Save coupon stacking, etc.). Influence central teams WW including Promotions, Deals, Cross-Channel Marketing, BI, and Finance to Invent & Simplify deals-related processes for U.S. Consumables Retail. Drive communication and guidance to the CSM and Manager community through process and goal changes. Hold the team accountable to goals and deliverables surrounding peak events. Develop Consumables-specific trainings to be presented to the 200+ person org., detailing how to source deals for upcoming HVEs. Connect with Consumables Finance Controllers and DMMs to streamline and establish profitability goals for upcoming peak periods at the GL level. Build tracking mechanisms for inventory and deal performance pre-, during, and post-deal launch that includes Consumables-specific metrics and goals. Work cross-functionally to establish SMART Deal OPS goals for the org. to commit to. Continuously report on goal progress throughout each HVE and throughout the year. Work with CSMs and Instock teams to source deals with overstock inventory to maintain optimal inventory position. Assess customer experience (CX) impact from deal outcomes and make recommendations to optimize future CX.
Position Requirements:
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business, Operations, Human Resources, Adult Education, Organizational Development, Instructional Design or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business, Operations, Human Resources, Adult Education, Organizational Development, Instructional Design or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Master’s degree and two years of experience. Must have two years of experience in the following skills: 1) program or project management experience; 2) experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements; and 3) experience with developing program strategy, end-to-end delivery with cross-functional teams, managing program metrics, and communicating results to Senior Leadership. Partial telecommuting permitted; employees will be required to report to office multiple days per week.
