AWS is seeking a Senior Partner Solutions Architect to join our Worldwide Strategic Consulting Partners team, supporting our Global Business Consulting & Advisory Partners (BCAP). This is an ideal role for candidates with experience working at a management consulting or strategic advisory firm, a global IT consulting firm, or a Fortune 500 company. As the Partner Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for collaborating with management consulting and strategic advisory firms worldwide to develop business and IT transformation strategies for enterprise customers embarking on large-scale AWS cloud adoption. Working closely with these partners requires influence and coordination with stakeholders at AWS, the partner firms, and our joint customers at the executive level (CIO, CTO, CISO, CPO/CDO).
In this technical role, you will be expected to architect enterprise-grade AWS solutions, own the technical relationship and deliverables for BCAPs, develop and execute multi-day workshops, lead whiteboarding sessions, author whitepapers and blog posts, and respond to complex technical inquiries, including RFPs. You should be equally comfortable discussing storage, networking, and DevOps with technical teams, as well as cloud strategy, TCO, and business transformation with C-suite executives. As a problem-solver with broad technical expertise, you will drive technical initiatives and cloud migration projects with strategic partners.
By earning 'trusted advisor' status with partner leadership and customers' executive staff, you will devise long-term roadmaps and action plans to help organizations evolve their capabilities and modernize their people, processes, and technology on the AWS platform. You will contribute to developing best practices from enterprise transformations, build reusable assets and tools, and provide thought leadership by publishing content and delivering sessions at AWS and industry events. This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.
Key job responsibilities
- As a member of the Global Partner Solution Architect team, you will act as a trusted advisor to our managed global strategic BCAP partners.
- Provide architectural guidance and recommendations necessary to promote successful partner engagements worldwide and to define and execute on Enterprise cloud transformation strategies
- Participate in deep architectural discussions and design exercises with partners to create world-class industry and cross-industry solutions built on AWS.
- Work closely with Partner Development Managers to formulate and execute a go-to-market strategy to drive Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) outcomes.
- Validate Partner architectures, deliverables, SOWs, and Project plans. Support partner-led customer engagements.
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge with our broader Solution Architect community, particularly in areas related to advertising and marketing technology.
- Share partner and customer feedback to internal product management and engineering teams to help drive the future of AWS services for joint strategic focus areas.
- Educate partners on the value proposition of AWS and showcase the art of possible in enterprise IT transformation solutions and offerings.
- Assist BCAP partner earn the trust of customers by delivering multi-day technical workshops, lead white boarding sessions, executing on Proof of Concepts. Author and contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as blog posts, case studies, and white papers.
