The Opportunity
This position works out of our Westfield, IN location in the Structural Heart division.
Structural Heart Business Mission: why we exist
Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart disease.
Main Purpose of the Role
Performs manual and clerical duties, which may utilize computers, in the movement of materials. Typically involves the filling of consumption bins, cycle counting, faxing for materials and follow-up with vendors / buyers.
What You’ll Work On
- Pulls material from warehouse stock using a pick list and possibly radio-frequency device (e.g., identifying the specific part number, lot number quantity and location of all material pulled).
- Utilizes a bar code scanner to scan items for material airlock pick list.
- Transports material (e.g., production and non-production materials) using a forklift, pallet jack, or truck to the designated location.
- Responsible for the management / maintenance of specific materials assigned.
- Participate and complete cycle count activities on a weekly basis. • Performs SAP transactions to clearly identify status of material.
- Examines all packages visually at the time of delivery for any damage, and compares the identity and quantities listed on the packing slips, invoices and freight bills to the packages to ensure the information is accurate.
- Lifts packages up to 50 lbs.
- May participate in the training of new team members.
- Provide customer service to a wide scope of customers (e.g. • Engineering, technicians, production, management).
- Enters material information (e.g P.O. number) into business computer system and generate receipt travelers.
- Assignments require some judgment, initiative, and creativity in trouble shooting.
- Process owner in the departments strategic initiative teams which drive towards positive results.
- (Planning/Organization) prioritize daily tasks to meet material kan-ban demands, and maintain a neat and orderly workplace.
- (Decision Making/Impact) Solves a wide range of complex problems and tasks with minimal guidance.
- Accurate in counting /reconciling quantities. • Understands organizational structure and positions of key employees.
- Minimal supervision.
- Receives no appreciable instruction on routine work.
2nd shift: Monday – Friday – 2:30-11:30 PM
Required Qualifications
Education Level
- High School Diploma / GED
- Associate’s degree (± 13 years) Or some college credits preferred
- Education level or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Experience
- 6+ years of experience covering the entire software lifecycle
- Proficient in Cloud Software; develops tools and automation software
- Experienced in building and managing mobile applications (iOS and Android)
- Extensive programming experience

The base pay for this position is
