The Prime Video International Language Experience Team is seeking a *Product Manager - Technical* to drive delivery for high-impact products that allow customers everywhere to enjoy Prime Video movies and TV shows. The Product Manager role requires excellent leadership skills, strategic thinking and strong technical expertise. Also, an ability to partnership cross-functional within and outside of Amazon. As a member of the team, you’ll need to understand the fundamentals of content creation, content accessibility and what is takes to launch large-scale products that allow our business teams (content, marketing) to scale. You will evolve our current tooling with your understanding of cloud computing (AWS) while innovating on current suite of Accessibility features services. You will also need to frequently engage business, product, and technology leaders and be a strong advocate for our global customers. Key job responsibilities
* Define the product strategy and roadmap for Accessibility programs with significant strategic importance in conjunction with cross-functional marketing and finance partners.
* Develop a 2-year vision for Accessibility programs that continuously deliver value to global PV customers.
* Bring together multiple business and technical perspectives and be the primary connector in this highly visible role.
* Build working backwards plans for new product and tools to enable more localized experiences.
* Contribute to both product and technical design discussions, across partner teams, and ensure that we’re building the right experiences that drive
* Champion and prioritize new product requirements and features for development
* Identify short and long-term product opportunities, provide actionable recommendations and influence stakeholders to implement durable solutions.
* Plan, execute, and monitor program and manage risks
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges for our customers and validate new integration launches
A day in the life
1. Prioritizing product backlog: Continuously evaluating and adjusting the priority of features, bug fixes, and technical improvements based on business value, customer needs.
2. Collaborating with engineering teams: Working closely with developers, architects.
3. Conducting stakeholder meetings: Regularly meeting with various stakeholders (e.g., executives, sales, marketing) to align product strategy.
4. Analyzing user feedback and data: Reviewing customer feedback, usage analytics, and market trends.
5. Writing and refining user stories: Creating detailed, actionable user stories.
6. Participating in sprint planning and reviews.
7. Monitoring product performance
8. Conducting competitive analysis: Staying informed about competitor products and industry trends.
